Throughout our history the greatness of The United States has been the envy and mystery of the world. How could a group of colonies defeat the worlds strongest military power and become sovereign a nation? How could these colonies agree and create a nation bound by constitution unlike any other in the world? How could so great a wealth of natural resources be within the border of one country? How is it possible that so many technological advancements could come out of this nation? Who, outside of our own government, knew the manufacturing capabilities proved during WWII? How could the American dollar become the currency of the world? Where does all the food this country has come from? Most other nations ask these questions with envy. So much envy that even many countries we call allies despise America's greatness. The nations wonder what the secrete of America's greatness is. Is it the resolve of the people, is it just pain luck? The true secrete of America's greatness can be found in the promise Almighty God made to Abraham and his seed in Genesis 12:3, And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. This promise was extended to the seed of Abraham that is the Jewish nation. God promised to bless any nation that blessed Israel. The United States Of America has been the greatest ally of the Jews and the nation of Israel. No other nation has offered safety, opportunity freedom and resources to the Jews as our nation has. Many of Israel's enemies consider The United States as the protector and sustainer of the Jews. God in is sovereignty when he created this world placed the great natural resources within in these borders. He brought people here who would fight for religious freedom (see Rhode Island Charter 1663 ) and lead this nation to be a safe haven for Jews. Our greatness lies in the fact that God developed this land and we the people have allowed this nation to be a blessing to The Jews. God is not through with the Jews, they are still His chosen people and as long as this nation continues to bless them God will bless our nation. But if we turn our backs to Israel God will turn his face from us. |
